Event details
The Zonta Club of the New Territories is hosting a special charity film screening of “Back to the Past” at PREMIERE ELEMENTS on 6 January 2026 (Tuesday), with a ceremony at 6:30 pm followed by the film at 7:00 pm. This exclusive event offers guests a memorable evening of entertainment and connection while highlighting Zonta’s service mission.
About the movie
“Back to the Past” continues the beloved story that began with Huang Yi’s novel “A Step into the Past” and its popular television adaptation. The film reunites original characters in a high‑stakes time‑travel adventure, where a wrongful imprisonment triggers a chain of events that could change the course of history.
In the movie, Ken (Michael Miu) vows to travel back to the Qin dynasty to become the Qin Emperor, while Hong Siu-lung (Louis Koo) lives in seclusion with his family under the watchful eye of his former disciple, the Qin Emperor (Raymond Lam). When the emperor is ambushed just as he is about to conquer the six warring states, he turns to Hong for protection, forcing mentor and disciple to confront a long‑standing grudge.
Zonta’s service focus
This charity screening forms part of the Zonta Club of the New Territories’ efforts to support meaningful social service projects for the young, the elderly, the physically and mentally challenged, and other vulnerable groups. Guests can enjoy a cinematic experience while learning more about Zonta’s community initiatives and impact.
