Report from Fellowship Committee (2006 – 2008)

Co-Chairmen: Nancy Chan, Beatrice Wen

The Fellowship Committee is very proud to report that a record of thirty fellowship events were held during the current biennium, averaging more than one event each month. Participation was very high with a record attendance of 42 members in one single event and averaging 16 Zontians per activity. These events covered a variety of activities to meet the diverse interests of all members. They included many gourmet dining and wine tasting dinner experiences, cooking lessons, attending concerts, movie Gala premiere, opera and international dance performances; visiting Wetland Park and state-of-the-art Creative Kingergarten; attending workshops on organic and environmental friendly beauty and household products; joint clubs fellowship activities and three overseas trips: Qindao, Xiamen and Guilin averaging 16 members per trip. All in all, the fellowship activities were well attended with enthusiasm. It is safe and clear to say that our fellowship events have definitely been well supported by all memebers (often by their spouses as well) in one way or another and have helped to propel our club’s Zonta spirit to a new height where bondage has increased dramatically. It is hoped that there will be more new and interesting activities to be organised by the incoming chairmen in the next biennium.
