Under the leadership of Area 2 Director Betty Fu, our fellow zontian, 11 members attended the Area 2 Meeting in Bangkok from 1-2 April 2006. Our incoming president and vice president attended a whole day Area 2 Training Workshop in Hong Kong. The six Zonta Clubs in Hong Kong enjoyed each other’s fellowship as we celebrated Rose Day together in October 2005 and a trip to Macau in November 2004.
During District 17 Governor Subhaporn Peters and Lt District Governor Victoria Vergel De Dios’ visit to Hong Kong in November 2005, they visited our long time social service partners: the Shek Kip Mei Lutheran Centre for the Blind and Senior Citizen Home Safety Association. They had each donated US$100 to the Shek Kip Mei Lutheran Centre for the Blind through the Club.
