A total of 5 members went to Bangkok to attend the Conference with the Theme – Embracing the Ideals of Zonta- Purpose, Pledge, Proactive. Due to the Bomb incident before the convention and for safety reason, the two Golden Z girls could not join the GZ District Conference. Nevertheless, their submitted project won third place in the District Governor (DG) Outstanding GZ Service Award Scheme. Our Club won third place in DG Outstanding Social Service Award and first place in DG Leadership and Achievement Award.
At the election of Officers of District Board, our Club members Teresa Lin and Winnie Wong were elected as Lieutenant Governor and Chairman of Nominating Committee for biennium 2016-2018.
