A meaningful project targets a total number of 120 female beneficiaries who are aged 15 to 24 from low-income families living in the northwest part of Hong Kong.
This program provides a very good opportunity for the young girls who are feeling uncertain about their future career after graduating from school. Most of them are being nominated by school principle who may get the most benefit from the project. One of the key activities involve a close mentorship program between Zonta members of the New Territories and the New Territories II with direct coaching so as to provide them guidance and support for future planning. Other activities involve job mock interview either in physical or Zoom format, etiquette and make up training class to enhance their confidence and social skills. Moreover, more than ten business units agree to provide job exposure opportunities to help them explore their own strength and interest with better preparation for their own future.
