Report from Fellowship Committee (2008 - 2010)
Co-Chairmen: Anne Chen, Angela Ho
During the past 2 years, the Fellowship Committee had organized more than 16 events. There were both local and overseas trips. In HK, members were invited to visit the then newly opened Noahˇ¦s Ark and joined other fellow Zontians on an outing to Ngong Ping where members had a ride in the cable cars. Overseas trips include a relaxing trip to Interlaken Hotel in Shenzhen and a wild shopping and dining weekend in Shanghai, expertly arranged by ex-President Teresa Lin. We went with empty luggages and returned with excess baggage charges. Other dining experiences include a vegetarian dinner at Pure Veggie House, a romantic Valentineˇ¦s BBQ at the HKJC where members were dressed mostly in laces, a charity dinner to raise funds for orphans of aids parents, karaoke at the Dynasty Club and a 60ˇ¦s themed dinner at the famed Luk Yu Teahouse. We thank you for the enthusiastic support shown by members and their spouses towards our functions. We hope to have provided a wide variety of events to cater to the different interests of members. Through participating in these events, members are able to interact with each other and, at the same time, find meaning in assisting others and learning more about their community in some events or simply enjoy and relax in others.

Report from Fellowship Committee (2006 - 2008)
Co-Chairmen: Nancy Chan, Beatrice Wen
The Fellowship Committee is very proud to report that a record of thirty fellowship events were held during the current biennium, averaging more than one event each month. Participation was very high with a record attendance of 42 members in one single event and averaging 16 Zontians per activity. These events covered a variety of activities to meet the diverse interests of all members. They included many gourmet dining and wine tasting dinner experiences, cooking lessons, attending concerts, movie Gala premiere, opera and international dance performances; visiting Wetland Park and state-of-the-art Creative Kingergarten; attending workshops on organic and environmental friendly beauty and household products; joint clubs fellowship activities and three overseas trips: Qindao, Xiamen and Guilin averaging 16 members per trip. All in all, the fellowship activities were well attended with enthusiasm. It is safe and clear to say that our fellowship events have definitely been well supported by all memebers (often by their spouses as well) in one way or another and have helped to propel our club's Zonta spirit to a new height where bondage has increased dramatically. It is hoped that there will be more new and interesting activities to be organised by the incoming chairmen in the next biennium.

Report from Fellowship Committee (2004 - 2006)
Fellowship Committee Report
Co-Chairmen
Pasy Ip & Beatrice Wen
The Fellowship Committee is pleased to confirm that there were twenty-two fellowship events held during the biennium 2004-2006. To meet the variety of interests of all members, the activities were in fact quite diverse, ranging from gourmet dining to exotic/hard-ship trip to remote village in Guizhou. Participation was high, averaging 14 members per event. The highest attendance rate being 64 participants of which 21 were members and remaining being family members. There were in fact 18 events attended by more than 11 members.
Of the twenty-two events, five were overnight/overseas trips, some included other sister zonta clubs as well. They were: Joint Zonta Clubs Fellowship; Trip to Macau; a social service on-site event jointly organized with fellowship committee to visit a primary school donated by our club in a remote village in Quizhou; District Conference in Kuantan (Malaysia); overnight week-end trip to Disneyland and Area 2 Meeting in Bangkok. The most rewarding one was the trip to the poor rural area of Quizhou, which was an eye opener to city dwellers like us. A group of 64 people including fifteen members and their families had a wonderful, fun-filled and relaxed weekend at Hong Kong Disneyland in October; thanks to Irene Hao who had made VIP arrangements for the participants both at the hotel and the Disney Park, making the stay at Disneyland perfectly smooth and enjoyable. Five concerts and/or musicals were arranged and six gourmet-dining experiences were held. Charity was extended while holding fellowship activities as we participated Gala Premiere organized by fund raising committee of other non-profit organizations.
To conclude, the fellowship committee is happy to report that the zontian spirit among the club is high and bondages among members are very strong.

Report from Fellowship Committee (2002 - 2004)
Co-chairmen: Pasy Ip, Beatrice Wen
The Fellowship Committee is proud to announce that we have held twenty five fellowship events over the last two year period 2002 - 2004, averaging at least one event per month. Attendance rate of these twenty-five events was very high, averaging 15 attendants per event. In fact there were six events, each of which was attended by more than 20 members. The types of fellowship activities were also significantly original. Other than indulging ourselves at great eating places, arrangements were made for four overseas trips, attending musical plays as well as participating in varieties of concerts and healthy dance classes including line dance and ballet pilates.
In particular, to celebrate our Club's twentieth anniversary, we kicked off the year by holding a series of fellowship dinner gatherings at some of the most sought after private dining restaurants in Hong Kong including Xi Yan, 131 French Restaurant, Luk Yu Chinese Restaurant, Chan Yam's Kitchener, Eatwell, Ingredients and pot-luck dinner at Janice Kwan's residence.
In November 2002, thirteen members joined a 3 days trip to Shanghai where we just indulged ourselves in sumptous Shanghaiese food and interesting shopping. On average, each member bought over a dozen number of items! We even managed to spend an evening at the famous dancing hall - Paramount. It was a really enjoyable trip for all those who attended. Then, nine of us participated in the joint Zonta function trip to Zhu Hai organized by the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong SAR to celebrate the International Women Day in March 2003. Again, it was quite a successful trip as Zontians from all Hong Kong Clubs were able to unite together to perform on stage and fully manifesting our Zontian spirit. Then, in February this year, six of our members attended the area 2 meeting in Singapore. Again, it was a great time for us to meet with other fellow Zontians not just from Hong Kong but the entire Area 2. Finally, ten of us went to Mission Hill at the invitation of Karen Wong to visit the beautiful villas there and enjoyed great spa activities as well as golfing.
A musical - "Singing in the Rain" was attended by twenty-two Zontians
in October, 2002 where the best seating with discounted price was arranged.
Seven other concerts : two held by Paddy Lui, one by Idy Lai and Elizabeth Cheng,
one by Liza Wang, one by Project Sepal, one by Charity Leap and finally a concert
by Opera Hong Kong were also well received and participated by our members.
The committee has also successfully organized a line dance course which runs
every Wednesday evening at the Heavenly Dance Studio since November, 2002. The
course started off with 15 members and has been running continuously for 18
months. We still have six chore members attending the Wednesday class. Another
healthy activity was sponsored by our new Zontian Lili Tsang whereby all members
were given 2 months' free trial at her ballet school in Causeway Bay for the
adult ballet pilates classes. Anyone who has tried it, liked it! We've definitely
seen transformation of our Zontians' posture and figure!!
Last but not least, charity was extended when we sponsored 1) two tables at the Valentine Day's Fund-Raising Ball held by the Riding for the Disabled Association and 2) the Concert for Project Sepal held at the Government House and organized by the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), Castle Peak Hospital in March 2003.
All-in-all, the fellowship committee is very encouraged and happy with the high participation rate at all the activities held during the two year period. We believe that Zontian spirits are running high among all members of our club and strong closed ties have been established as a result.
