{"id":7505,"date":"2021-03-29T17:22:48","date_gmt":"2021-03-29T17:22:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.zonta-nt.org.hk\/?p=7505"},"modified":"2021-03-29T17:22:48","modified_gmt":"2021-03-29T17:22:48","slug":"report-from-fund-raising-committee-2008-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.zonta-nt.org.hk\/?p=7505","title":{"rendered":"Report from Fund Raising Committee (2008 &#8211; 2010)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Report from Fund Raising Committee (2008 &#8211; 2010)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Co-Chairmen: Betty Chan, Michelle Chan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the assistance of all Zonta NT members, the Fund Raising Committee has organized a very meaningful and successful fund raising event on 28 February 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event included a charity film show featuring \u201cThe Echoes of the Rainbow\u201d which has won the Crystal Bear Award for the Best Film at the 2010 Berlin International Film Festival a week before our event. The film was produced by Ms. Cheung Yuen Ting (\u5f35\u5a49\u5a77) and directed by Mr. Alex Law (\u7f85\u555f\u92b3). Through the film, the hardworking and resourceful characteristics of Hong Kong people in the 1960s are portrayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"533\" src=\"http:\/\/www.zonta-nt.org.hk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/4.-FunRaising_p01.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7506\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.zonta-nt.org.hk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/4.-FunRaising_p01.jpeg 750w, http:\/\/www.zonta-nt.org.hk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/4.-FunRaising_p01-300x213.jpeg 300w, http:\/\/www.zonta-nt.org.hk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/4.-FunRaising_p01-140x100.jpeg 140w, http:\/\/www.zonta-nt.org.hk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/4.-FunRaising_p01-350x250.jpeg 350w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At the event, Zonta NT also paid tribute to nine Fondly Recognised Brands by presenting awards to them. The spirit and strengths of Hong Kong have been developed by these brands over the years for greater success. The nine brands cover a wide range of fields. They are Hang Seng Bank, Sincere, Watsons, Chow Sang Sang, Vitasoy, Star Ferry, Lion &amp; Globe, Wai Yuen Tong and HK Philharmonic Orchestra.
